TAKING THE EXAM |
|||||||||
|
Voice stress exams need only a few things; a competent, professional analyst, a laptop computer with the right software, a quiet room, and a person to test. There will be a pretest interview to inform the client of the questions that will be asked and an explanation of how the exam process goes. The person examined is completely involved in this process so they will feel comfortable with the examination. The exam will take place with the client wearing a small microphone and the analyst will ask a series of questions. The client's responses are received by the laptop through the microphone, and the analyst reads those responses. After the exam, the client will be given the results. The whole process will take one to two hours, quite simple and uncomplicated for you, the client. A report will be written and sent to you by the analyst and then you (or your attorney) can make a decision as to what you do with your exam results. Please understand, in order to follow proper testing guidelines not every question can be asked. Your examiner will discuss the questions with you in advance and will make certain the issues you are inquiring about are resolved. |
